Online shopping has taken over the role of classic department stores, that once served the role of an exhilarating, social, watering hole. House of Fraser, the long-standing British brand is, sadly, no different. Despite its efforts to catch up to its younger audiences, it has fallen behind in drawing in new customers into its empty stores. But there are strong emotional bonds that are exclusive to shopping in person, and the predecided online algorithms take away the journey one goes through when an unexpected garment catches their eye. House of Fraser needs to remind its customers of the adventure of visiting, as stepping out of your comfort zone is more exciting in person. It's not time for a revolution. It's time for a glampocalypse. Are you ready to wear?
